Orthavax Safety

Built for Confidence. Designed for Protection.

Orthavax is FDA registered, not FDA approved. But safety was our starting point.

We carefully reviewed the FDA’s safety guidelines for Vacuum Erection Devices (VEDs). Those standards—and additional safeguards—are fully integrated into Orthavax.

Key Safety Features

safety icon

Emergency Quick-Release Valve
Located at the top of the chamber, this valve instantly releases vacuum pressure with a simple press.

pause icon

Automatic 10-Cycle Pause

Each session includes 40 cycles. After every 10th cycle, the system pauses to allow re-lubrication and reassessment before continuing.

touch screen icon

Touchscreen Pause Button

The built-in touchscreen features a clearly marked pause button. Pressing it stops the session and safely releases vacuum.

Overuse Prevention

Orthavax limits use to one session every seven hours, preventing excessive exposure.

Power Loss Protection

In the event of a power outage, Orthavax automatically shuts off and releases any vacuum pressure.

Understanding Risk: A Safer Approach to VED Use

VEDs are considered safe when used properly. But most off-the-shelf devices sold online:

Are not regulated

Often cost under $50

Include minimal safety guidance

Orthavax is different. It’s engineered to eliminate the most common risk: overuse.

Overuse: The Primary Risk of VEDs

Prolonged high vacuum exposure can damage skin and tissue.

For comparison, wound vacuums (used medically) operate at much lower pressure levels and are designed for extended use.

How Orthavax Prevents Overuse

Orthavax integrates four independent safeguards:

1. Vacuum Level Control

Uses precision vacuum transmitters with +/-1% accuracy

Ceramic sensors and Viton seals for durability and reliability

2. Timed Vacuum Duration

Each vacuum cycle lasts 15 seconds, followed by a 4-second rest

Longer vacuum does not add benefit–so we don't allow it

3. Cycle Limit Per Session

Clients choose 5 or 10 warmup cycles at lower pressure

Total session capped at 40 cycles (about 15 minutes)  including recovery time

4. Session Frequency Limit

Users can perform only one session every 7 hours

This enforces rest periods and reduces cumulative strain

Reducing Pain and Discomfort

Many men abandon standard VEDs due to pain. The issue? Generic chambers press too hard into the groin, often creating ring-like bruising.

Orthavax eliminates that pain in two ways:

1. Custom Chamber Size

Matched to penis diameter (~1.5 inches typical), not a generic 2.5-inch tube

This greatly reduces the total force against the body

2. Integrated Comfort Pad

A broad pad distributes remaining pressure

No sharp contact, no groin ring sensation

Summary

Orthavax delivers the benefits of a VED—safely, consistently, and intelligently.

Through built-in automation, precision controls, and comfort-focused design, we’ve addressed the risks that make other systems hard to use—or easy to misuse.

Orthavax doesn’t just apply vacuum. It applies common sense, data, and care.

Debunking myths about autism

  • Myth - Autism is a disease that needs to be cured

Autism is a disorder, and it comes in many forms and levels of severity. It could be mild in one child, and severe in another. In any case, it isn't a disease for which we should find a cure. Rather, it's a condition families and their children need to learn to live with on a dialy basis. With the right coping mechanisms and care, we see significant change for the better.
